Wayland was President of Brown University, and Professor of Moral Philosophy. 406 pp. with 12 pages of advertisements. Ex. lib. with locator sticker on spine, bookplate on front inside cover and marker numbers on front freepaper. Covers in Poor condition with edges rubbed and corners bumped. Top section of spine is missing, and bottom of spine is torn with front joint broken and bottom edge of spine ripped. Interior is browned and light foxing, both otherwise is tight.
