Spines labels for "Bibliotheque de Quebec." FRENCH language text. Bindings tight and secure. Leather scuffed and faded with particular wear to edges and hinges. Corners bumped. Bookplates on endpapers. Pages clean. Text unmarked. Sold "as-is."

Abbe Claude Millot (1726-1785) taught an historical class for young noblemen in Parma before returning to his native France and pursuing a writing career. Here he puts forth a general world history from ancient times through the Middle Ages and right into his own 18th-century France. This offer includes volumes one to four of a nine volume set.
