Description: A colorfully told account of a Scottish woman who set out to America based on the persuasions of a Mormon missionary. Ending up in Nevada, where she and her third husband struck it rich in silver, building the Bowers Mansion and touring Europe. This was originally published in 1929 by Bobbs-Merrill (Paher's Nevada, Number 1521); this Pacific Books reprint edition mentions additional material on the copyright page -- to the best of my knowledge, the only added material is a new foreword and two double sided black and white plates. Page count is the same for both editions.
