Red slick cloth with gilt design to the front and gilt lettering to the spine. 209 pp. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Willis Barnstone ( Translator) to Juan Orrego-Salas and his wife Carmen, " To Juan and Carmen ( Daphnis & Chloe) mis buenos amigos, con el afecto de un amigo". Orrego-Salas was a noted poet from Chile , long time Professor of Music at Indiana University, and the winner of the National Arts Award in Chile. This copy is FINE in a VG+, unclipped( no price) DJ designed by Felix Beltrain. Exterior is rich and clean, edges are sharp, gilt is bright. Inside is otherwise unmarked, crisp, and minimally toned. DJ has modest wear around the edges, but clean with little toning/soiling. . Quite Lovely..
