London: The Hogarth Press,, 1930. Octavo. Original japon-backed pink cloth, spine lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. A bright and sharp copy, couple of puncture marks to foot of spine, contents toned but clean. A very good copy. First edition, limited issue, number 73 of 125 copies numbered and signed by the author. The Edwardians "celebrated the lavish style of country house life that she had observed in her parents' heyday at Knole" (ODNB). Woolmer 235a; Cross & Ravenscroft-Hulme A20(b).
