About This Item
Munich: Privately Printed at the Bremer Press, 1923. 455pp, [1], original quarter cloth and boards with original paper label to spine. Spine slightly dulled, label browned, minor splits to joints at head of spine, minor chipping to foot of spine, covers slightly faded to edges, corners bumped. Internally bright and clean. Number one hundred and eight of one hundred and fifty-five copies, 'numbered and signed' according to the colophon, but I can see no evidence of it being signed (presumably as issued?). Printed on Zanders handmade paper by The Bremer Press in Munich, with five hand-coloured double-page landscapes by Annette von Eckardt. First Edition. Quarter Cloth and Boards. Good+. Illus. by Lear, Edward. Folio. Limited Edition.

About Temple Rare Books
Temple Rare Books is a division of Temple Bookbinders, which has been established for nearly twenty years. The bookshop is based within the bindery building. It is open between 10am and 4pm weekdays, any other times by appointment. All books listed on the website can be examined here, but please let us know first if you are travelling, so that we can make sure it is still available. Not all of the books in the shop are listed on the website. We are members of the PBFA and ABA and exhibit at several of their book fairs, please see our fairs / events page. We attend many auctions and are happy to execute commission bids on your behalf. We will issue printed catalogues sporadically, if you would like to receive these, please contact us at books@templerarebooks.com
