The present copy is number 65, signed on limitation page at end of book by Elaine Le Vasseur, printmaker whose impression was pulled by her in 1998 from Edward Borein's original copper plate of No. 59 "A Bad Hoss", also signed by John T. Reynolds from whose collection the plate came and David Weinstein, who created the custom binding and slipcase. It is also signed by Harold Davidson (page23) who is considered the outstanding authority on the life and work of this cowboy artist. This special issue of Noticias also is known as: Cowboy artist; the Life and Art of Edward Borein, 1872-1945. Besides the drypoint, there are other important illustrations, some of which are in color. Copies recorded at the Metropolitan, the Amon Carter and the Santa Barbara Historical Society. Fine. An exquisite, limited edition bound in three-quarter leather over marbled paper covered boards in a custom slipcase with paper label.
