Issues present are Vol. 42 No. 3, Vol. 45 Nos. 6 and 12, Vol. 46 Nos. 3 and 6, Vol. 48 No. 3, Vol. 49 Nos. 1/2 (double issue) and 4, Vol. 50 Nos. 2, 10, and 11 (No. 11 is misnumbered as No. 10, with number crossed out and corrected in pen), Vol. 51 No. 1, Vol. 52 Nos, 2 and 9-12, Vol. 53 Nos. 2-8 and 10, Vol. 54 Nos. 1, 4/5 (double issue)7-9, and 11/12 (double issue), Vol. 55 No. 1/2 (double issue), Vol. 65 No. 9, and Vol. 66 Nos. 10-12. Various pagination, Vol. 42 No. 3 stapled once at upper left, all others in stapled wraps or wraps secured by folding, most with address labels on rear wraps, some wear, fold-creasing, and uneven toning, Vol. 52 No. 12 with large stain on front wrap, Vol. 53 No. 10 with ink stamp on front wrap else generally good condition. The Labor Research Assn. was the economic investigating unit for the Communist Party USA though it was organizationally and formally independent of it. Notable among its directors were Alexander Trachtenberg, Solon De Leon (son of Daniel De Leon) and Scott Nearing.

Staplebound. 296 issues total in this incomplete run, spanning the period from June 1946 to March 2000; various pagination, often mimeographed and printed newsletter size, stapled in upper left hand corner of wraps, by 1969, became staple bound along spine with two staples. Some wear, rusted staples, toning, and stains throughout, Vols. 61 through 63 have 3 hole punches through the spine, a few issues with pen underlining.
