Gordon, Pennsylvania: E. A. Phillips. 4 page "newspaper" with 3 pages of ads, and front page on Methodist news. This is accompanied by a handwritten letter on Philadelphia & Reading Railway Company, Shamokin Division, letterhead of the Office Superintendent, Tamaqua, PA., dated October 7th, 1915: "Dear Heston, Herewith find the only copy I have of the once famous Gordon Echo, which is cheerfully donated to the file in the office of the original plant. With kindest regards and best wishes, Sincerely, Harry." With original mailing envelope, on which former owner has written family notes. Newspaper is darkened, but not brittle. Envelope is also darkened. Newspaper is 7 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" h. . Good. Paper. 1897.
