New York: Farrar Straus and Company, 1963. Bound in the publishers grey cloth binding with bold gilt title lettering to the spine. This copy has been warmly inscribed on the front endpaper by Alec Waugh and is dated Christmas 1963. The book sits solid and square. The 312 pages are in fresh, crisp condition with no marks or flaws and are squarely bound. Black and white photographic frontispiece of Alec Waugh in 1919. There is an extensive index to the rear of the book. Housed in the near fine purple and red dustwrapper which remains vivid and bright with excellent colour tone. Neatly priceclipped.
