This volume comprised of "Journal of Travels into Kentucky, July 15, 1793 - April 11, 1796" by Andre Michaux; "Travels to the West of the Alleghany Mountains ... undertaken in the year 1802 ..." by Francois Andre Michaux; and "Journal of a Tour into the Territory Northwest of the Alleghany Mountains made in the Spring of the Year 1803" by Thaddeus Mason Harris. 382 pages. Usual library treatments. Boards lightly sunned abd worn with spine library label removed. Interior front hinge archivally repaired. All three facsimile maps are present. The "Carte de etats du centre ... des Etates-Unis" is detached and has suffered several repaired closed tears. The map of the Alleghany and Yohiogany Rivers and Rufus Putnam's Map of State of Ohio are present and clean with some age toning. This is an original 1904 publication not a reproduction.
