About This Item

Gialli Giumar N7, 1959. Very Good. Vintage Italian hardcover in dust jacket, translation of "Pattern for Panic." Digest-size hardcover in jacket, photographic cover featuring Tina Louise in red nightgown, notable for her role as Ginger on "Gilligan's Island," and a year earlier (1958) in "God's Little Acre," she appeared in Playboy twice. Other Gialli editions credited models on the jacket flap, Louise is credited here, photographed by E.P.S.. Gialli was one of Italy's finest series, offering translations of (mostly) American crime fiction, lush full-color pin-up jacket art, i.e. Jayne Mansfield, Lili St. Cyr, June Wilkinson. This particular series short-lived (others ran into 100+ titles). Very Good in Very Good Plus jacket, lean, foxing, brief wear to jacket edges.
