FIRST EDITION of Hines's memoir, SIGNED by Duncan Hines on the dedication leaf which reads "This book is dedicated to those to whom good eating is a joy and the preparation of food one of the great arts." Scarcely found signed. It's graphic dust jacket, with a map of the US spread across its front, back, and spine, is a classic piece of 1950s design.
