New York: Virtue & Yorston, circa 1870. Large steel engraving, overall size folio, image size 7 15/16" wide x 6 1/16" tall. Excised from Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", one of 48 separate serialized subscription offerings issued under the title "The Works of Shakspere (sic) Edited by Charles Knight". Artist ("PinxT (Pinxit), meaning "the work of") was W.P. Frith, the engraver was J. Brain. Scene for the engraving is "The Duel", from Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". Very Good, with just moderate foxing and minor chips at bottom edge. See scan. LNG3
