About This Item
New York: Alfred A Knopf, 1949. Harold Robbins second novel. Author of "Never Love A Stranger", Published in 1948. The Dream Merchants is a novel about the American film industry, from its beginning to the sound era. Harold Robbins blended his own experiences, historical facts, melodrama, sex and action into this fast-moving story. The book shows text toning. Title print is bright. It remains clean and sound. The dust jacket designed by George Salter has a small amount of paper loss to upper and lower part of the spine, wear to the extremities and flaking to rear panel. Price-intact dust jacket. Overall, a most respectable copy. A very good read of one of Harold Robbin's earliest books.. First Edition Stated. Very Good/Good.
