New York: Heritage Press, 1965. Hardbound . BINDING/CONDITION: two color cloth binding -- red with black at the spine, red spine text; a Very Good+ book, with a Very Good+ slipcase. The slipcase features a marbled pattern. Introduction by Anthony Boucher, illustrated with wood engravings by Felix Hoffmann. The publisher explains, ''For Dracula, Hoffman has reflected the mood of the novel with thirty-two superb wood-engravings. Twenty-four of these are in black and white and are spread throughout the text of the book. The remaining eight are full-page engravings in three colors, and for these Hoffmann has worked out four different color schemes. Hoffmann worked enthusiastically on Dracula because, he revealed to us, It has long been my desire to illustrate a genuine horror story.''' Book design by Charles Skaggs. This copy includes the publisher's insert, the Heritage Club Sandglass. small 4to (about 10.5 inches tall) 410 pages.

Dracula is an 1897 novel by Irish author Bram Stoker, featuring as its primary antagonist the vampire Count Dracula. Dracula has been attributed to many literary genres including vampire literature, horror fiction, the gothic novel and invasion literature. Structurally it is an epistolary novel, that is, told as a series of diary entries and letters.
