Inside in lovely clean near fine condition with original advertisement leaf inserted for the exhibition of original works published in this book. A very good copy.

A selection of verses which have appeared in 'Punch', all of which are about dogs. Twelve colour plates plus frontis plus b/w illustrations. 47 pages. A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some darkening to edges. Some light browning, foxing is mainly to prelims and page edges. Just an odd mark to contents. All plates present. Dustwrapper has one third of rear panel and half of rear flap missing, also loss from spine and bottom of front panel. Creasing and tears to edges, grubby some some darkening.
