About This Item
London: Priory Books, 1970. First Thus . Mass Market Paperback. Near Fine. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Priory # 1056. A harrowing tale of a world gone mad and on the brink of total atomic destruction! A rogue Soviet general decides to launch an unauthorized sneak attack on the US with ICBMs he controls. He reasons that the US will be so devastated that it cannot survive or respond effectively, and after the exchange, the Soviets would be mostly intact and in control of the world. Neither the rogue Soviet general nor anyone else in the USSR; however, knows about the top secret US Doomsday Wing and its doomsday system. 124 pages. CONDITION: A solid Near Fine copy - bright, tight, square, uncreased, and evidently unread, unmarked but for a "remainder" line on the page block top, with negligible shelf-wear (just one tiny corner bump and a small rear spine-edge scuff). This handsome copy is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag. NOTE: This small item will be shipped, securely packed, with a complimentary upgrade to First Class with Delivery Confirmation on domestic (USA) orders.
