A Novel of Intrigue & Suspense, The first U.S. edition. Very Good book that is very slightly bumped at corners, soft at spine ends with bit of wear there to quarter cloth; In a Very Good, PRICE-CLIPPED, jacket that edge and corner, two 1 inch closed tears top of front panel, wear and slight chipping to spine ends, and moderate soiling to back panel and spine. The U.K. author was quite popular following WWII and was well-known in English literary circles. Very scarce in any edition, but especially in this U.S. 1st printing.
