Approbations present and dated 1953, no copyright date present. Appendices with 12 pages of black and white photographs at the back. Translated by the Earl of Wicklow from the French edition of 1950, "La passion de N.-S. Jésus Christ selon le Chirugien". An investigation undertaken by the surgeon, classicist, linguist, archaeologist, liturgist and scholar, Barbet. The binding is tight and solid with a clean interior. The library markings, none of which are external, are a stamp on the title page and attachments on the back end papers. .
