London: Longmans Green & Co, 1894. First Edition in English. Hardcover. Near Fine. A narrative of Count Samuel Telleki's Exploring and hunting expedition in Eastern Equatorial Africa in 1887 and 1888. Two volumes: 435 pp, ill, colored folding map and 397 pp, map frontis, ill, folding map in rear. An excellent hunting book. Hunting between Zanzibar and Mt Kilimanjaro. They continued hunting throughout Kenya, of course around Lakes Rudolph & Stefanie. Much on big game as well as plains game. A lovely set in original highly gilt brown cloth with gilt vignettes on upper boards. One corner mildly bumped. The set is truly lovely.
