Rubbed yellow endpapers, school award plate ( 1906 ). Clean age faded text block, occasional foxing. 357 fine b/w plates including frontispiece. Binding pulled in places but overall firm.

Brown cloth with gilt decorations to front board and spine. Black and white illustrations throughout. Prize plate stuck to front pastdown. Pages and illustrations are visibly tanned with minor foxing and dust marks throughout. Title page partially detached. Minor tear to few first pages. Hinges reinforced with white tape. Notable stains and dust marks with pencil marks, pen marks, stamp and sticker to pastdowns and endpapers. Light cracking to gutters with slightly exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with noticeable bumping and fraying to corners, mild crushing to spine ends,visible loss to original spine strip and rub wear all over. Book has forward lean.
