The essays include Numbers, or The Majority and the Remnant; Literature and Science; and Emerson. The book is in Very Good condition. It is bound in a burgundy cloth, with some lightly bumped corners and light rubbing at the spine tips. The book has die-stamped gilt spine titles. The pages are clean and bright. The rough-cut pages are securely bound, although a bit stiff. The book measures 5 1/4 by 7 3/8 inches and includes 207 pages.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
