Paris: L'Imprimerie de Rignoux, 1825. Pamphlet. Very Good. 2, [2] p.; 25 cm. Caption title. "Académie Royale de Médecine" -- at head of title. Disbound from a collection of pamphlets owned by French homeopath Dr. Charles Ravel (1822-1887). The author, Julien Joseph Virey (1775-1846), was a French pharmacist and is credited with establishing the field of chronobiology. Bernard Germain Étienne de La Ville-sur-Illon, comte de Lacépède (1756-1825), was a French naturalist who worked with Buffon on his Histoire Naturelle and served in the French legislature. In Very Good Condition: foxed; "94" written on title page and Comte de Lacépède is underlined, both in ink; otherwise, clean. Scarce.
