About This Item
Firenze: G. Barbera, 1864.. 1864.. Good. - 16mo, 4-1/2 inches high by 3 inches wide. Marbled boards backed with a green calf spine titled with roulettes in gilt on the spine. The covers are rubbed and the corners are lightly bumped. 798 pages, illustrated with a frontispiece by N. Boratynski. The front hinge has been reinforced with early paper tape. The top corners of the first few pages are slightly dampstained and there are occasional minor stains throughout. Small pieces are torn from the corners of a very few leaves, not affecting the text. A previous owner's name is penned on the front endpaper and there are a very few marks in pencil and ink. Good.
