Leipzig: Verlag Karl W. Hiersemann, 1936. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. FIRST PRINTING of First Edition. Ex-library bound in heavy black cloth with gilt lettering spine. Library bookplate on front pastedown, library perforated blindstamp on title page and on a couple other pages, no library marks on any of the illustration plates, no underlining or writing on any pages, no foxing, plates are clean and bright, solid binding. Generally nice condition. The book is very large weighing almost 7 pounds and measuring 370mm tall x 295mm. It has 101 pages of text followed by 60 plates (each full page in size with blank versos) of which 40 are in full color. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
