Includes 32 pages of halftone illustrations. Photographic illustrated dust jacket has a 2.0 inch closed tear at the top left of the front panel, and the back strip section of the jacket has faded from exposure to sunlight. The edges of the text block are browned for the same reason. First published in 1951, the preface to the new edition makes the point that 13 years have passed, therefore the year of publication has to be 1964. Size: Quarto -- up to 12 " Tall.
