John Lane The Bodley Head, London, 1917. Second Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Illustrator: M Watson-Williams. Light brown linen spine over dark brown boards with red, chipped spine-label. Rubbed and worn corners and edges, and light wear to spine-ends and spine-joints. Sound binding with separation at some gatherings. Half-title is loose. Occasional light foxing to pages, and some signs of water damage to upper and gutter edges of plates, inside rear cover and on occasional pages (does not affect text).
