About This Item
New York: Metro Music, 1929. 3p., very good in wraps. Musical score with text in Yiddish, written using Romanized alphabet (so that the words could be read left to right, along with the music, rather than right to left). Full Yiddish text in proper script is presented on the back cover. Posner, the arranger of this version, composed both religious and socialist music, including the score for the Jewish Labor Bund song "Maylid" (Song of May).
