Albert Kahn designed his first factory in 1903; by 1918, when he began the Rouge River Ford Plant, he had become the foremost industrial architect of the United States. By the time of his death in 1942, much of the rapid mechanization of the world in the previous forty years had been guided by his designs. The unclipped dust jacket is edge rubbed with nicks (Mostly on the spine crown), light abrasions on the joints and folds, and the spine is rubbed and heavily sunned extending about 1" onto the front panel. The jacket is now protected in a Brodart sleeve. This is a slightly oversized book. Priority and international mailings may require additional postage.
