Illustrated with photographs and drawings in the text. The book tells how general aviation can be made safer by including currently available safety features to simplify and improve aircraft operation. The author analyses accident data to show the types of accidents that can be eliminated, and for the first time pilot-error accidents are related to possible redesign. He suggests ways to eliminate the causes of accidents through new approaches to aircraft design, flight instrumentation, avionics, and airport design. 22. First Edition. Hard Cover.
