About This Item

Denver, Colorado: Special Productions, Inc, 1985. A beautiful copy INSCRIBED / SIGNED on the front free endpaper by former Broncos Quarterback Craig Morton. Craig Morton (born February 5, 1943) was quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Denver Broncos. He was selected fifth overall by the Cowboys in the 1965 NFL Draft. In 1969, he became the starter at quarterback over Roger Staubach. He led the Cowboys to Super Bowl V, where the team lost 16-13 to the Baltimore Colts. After 3 lackluster seasons with the Giants, Morton was traded to the Denver Broncos in 1977. At age 34, Morton revived his career with the Broncos, finishing the season as the second rated passer in the AFC. Morton was the first NFL quarterback to start the Super Bowl for two different teams (Dallas in V and Denver in XII) - data from Wikipedia. Fine condition. NOT a library discard. Sharp corners.
