When Deborah Lipstardt, an American academic, wrote her book "Denying the Holocaust: The Growing Assault on Truth and Memory" and named the British author David Irving as one of the "... most dangerous spokespersons of the denial movement" -- from the rear panel blurb, she did not know that she would find herself, along with her publisher, in front of a British judge sued for libel by David Irving. This is her recounting of that trial -- its buildup, it's personalities and of the trial itself and more importantly the fallout after the judgement had been passed.
