About This Item

New York: Putnam Adult, 1994. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 256pp. Sharp First Printing with full number sequence. Square tight and clean throughout with little or no wear save some fairly mild bumping to the spine ends. Equally attractive unclipped, dust-jacket, ($21.95), has a hint of wear and very minor toning to edges. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Inscribed and Signed by the author on the title page. Though his last name is not written, it is to fellow mystery author Donald Westlake and came from a collection of several other similar Don Westlake association copies. "To Abby & Don, Time to get out your handsoap again. For this one, Joe recommends Fels Naptha and hot water. Hope you enjoy! Love ya, your pal Christopher Newman". "Abby" is Abigail Westlake, the author's third and final wife. "Joe" is unknown. A very pretty collectable association copy.
