This first edition is fine in fresh red cloth, top edge dusty, the text is clean and crisp, no inscriptions. Bookseller's label of Foyles of Charing Cross. In a near fine dustjacket, not price clipped, lightly soiled with sunned spine. Best remembered now as a poet and garden designer, Vita Sackville-West also wrote several biographies including Saint Joan and The Eagle and the Dove.
