DW is VG but has the library symbol mark to the spine and some minimal adhesive residue to the very extreme edges of the top and bottom where bleeding has occured from an old library cover. the DW extreme edges of the flaps may have been trimmed slightly with no loss. nice crisp image to DW. scarce and hard to get first British printing of Bradburys first novel.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall. Ex-Library.
Synopsis
Dandelion Wine is a 1957 semi-autobiographical novel by Ray Bradbury, taking place in the summer of 1928 in the fictional town of Green Town, Illinois — a pseudonym for Bradbury's childhood home of Waukegan, Illinois. The novel developed from the short story "Dandelion Wine" which appeared in the June 1953 issue of Gourmet magazine. The title refers to a wine made with dandelion petals and other ingredients, commonly citrus fruit.
