There is wear to spine head and tail and to corner tips with some dark marks to front. Internally there is an old repair to rear hinge, some light foxing to endpapers, some wear to a few page edges, some minor marks and age / dust marking to closed edges but generally clean and tight. A TRIPLE DECKER comprising The Crock of Gold - A New Edition, 1857, 166 pages; The Twins : A Tale of Concealment - A New Edition, 1853, 156 pages; Heart : A Tale of Falsewitness - A New Edition, 1853, 144 pages. Illustrated frontispieces by John Leech.The author (1810-1889) was an English Victorian author, poet, Doctor of Civil Law and a Fellow of the Royal Society .
