The text analyzes children's books from all eras. This Revised Edition is 100 pages longer than the first. It updates entries to include titles published from 1953 to 1969 and also has a new introduction. It is an excellent reference work covering all eras of children's literature including notable foreign books. There is a helpful index and bibliography.
