Bright yellow cloth hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, second (1940) printing of the First Edition, in new DJ design by Robert Ritter (showing a female corpse in a partially untied cloth covering), 288 pages; spine slightly slanted but covers have hardly a trace of shelf wear, spine top gently rubbed/bumped, spine bottom has a tiny 2 mm tear, but very gently used, tight in binding, very clean and unmarked throughout; DJ rubbed along hinges, numerous very tiny chips/tears, four slightly larger chips (largest only 5 mm deep), now in new mylar protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good ++/Very Good -.
