Ex-library hardback book is in remarkable condition with less than usual library stamps and markings, has mild lean. Boards have nice corners, and are clean. Spine is gently bumped to head and foot, title gilt fully legible. The hinges are strong with no evidence of cracking or starting. Text block is clean, with light toning and a few light spots to edges. The front pastedown has withdrawn stamp, and a feint lending sheet remnant. The copyright page has a County Library stamp, there are no other stamps, markings or notations. The pages are white and remarkably crisp, unblemished. Feels read, but is not loose, and the binding is not stressed at all. The jacket is complete, with gentle sunning to the rear panel, and more pronounced sunning to the spine. There is rubbing to the spine and joint ends, and colour break creases to the joints. The price (£2.25) is intact. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover.
