About This Item

London: Thomas Nelson, 1969. Gold title on green boards which are clean and unmarked with no wear. Internally there is evidence of an erased name to front endpaper and some light foxing to closed edges els very clean, tight and unmarked. Dustjacket has a repaired closed tear and the price covered. 157 pages. Illustrated with drawings in the text. The book is the author's enchanting account of the seasons at Tea-Cosy Cottage in a small village nestling in the Surrey hills. Here is an evocation of the landscape, of the English climate, and a disappearing way of life. Animals and birds are all observed, and interwoven are vignettes of the people of the village. B2C. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
