Signed & dated by the artist. 45 full-page color plates reproduced from paintings by Lionel Willis of British sailing craft from the Middle Ages to early 20th Century. Opposite each plate is a page of descriptive text: most with additional B/W illustration. No page numbers: 22pp of prelims & introduction with several full page B/W plates followed by 90pp of plates & accompanying text + 3pp of illustrated vessels drawn to a common scale. Hinges and interior of text are tight, clean and intact. Printed on heavy stock paper. Nautical. ; Color Plates; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 115 pages; Signed by Illustrator .
