Norfolk, CT: New Directions, 1939. First edition, second state. Hardcover. Very Good/good. 5 1/2 x 8 3/4 in. Sienna cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. First edition, second state. Condition of book is VERY GOOD ; slight wear to corners, covers very clean, spine slightly lightened by water (which is evident on the inside of the DJ.) Mild foxing to endpapers, binding tight, text very clean, with almost no markings, but a few lines are marked with pencil, easily erased. DJ is GOOD ; not price-clipped ($3.00). Old scotch tape repairs inside, chipping and wear to edges, open tears upper right cover, also lower spine (hole) large closed tears upper spine, some mild foxing. Archivally taped by us and in new Mylar wrapper. Fiction. RGR.
