Edinburgh: Gall and Inglis, 1907. 1st Edition. Red Cloth Boards. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. xivpp; 254-848pp; 32pp of index. There is a fold out map to the rear of the book of England and Wales which has a short 1 cm tear to the attached edge. Thin slate panel pasted to the rear paste down. Bound in red cloth boards with gilt embossed lettering to the spine and vignette of a motor car to the front board. Numerous contour charts and maps illustrate the text. List of other Gall and Inglis maps and road books from this year 1907. All edges red. Some fading to the spine. There are light bumps to the head and tail of the spine and the corners are lightly tunred in. Slight nik to the cloth at the head of the spine and a light bump to the front edge of both boards. Ink name signature, address and date April 1909 to the head of the front end paper - ? Cmpbell, 89 Kenilworth Ave, Wimbledon Park, London SW1.. Ever so slight crease to the front end paper and few adjacent map pages. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
