Presentation copy to Francis Bacon inscribed by the author and signed by the artist on the title page: "Pour Francis Bacon, en espérant qu'un jour très prochain nous travaillions à quelque chose de moins abstrait sur son œuvre avec l'admiration et l'amitié de Michel Couturier, R. Groborne" (title page). In 1975 Bacon gave Couturier a lengthy interview which was broadcast that same year on French national radio. Octavo. Original white wrappers. With dust jacket.
