About This Item
Syracuse, NY: Syracuse University Press, 1962. Hardcover. 8vo. Blue cloth with gilt lettering, pictorial dust jacket. xi, 313pp. Illustrations. Fine/very good. Jacket lightly edgeworn, with a few tiny chips at corners and head of spine. Quite sharp and lovely firts edition of this volume in SUP's "Men and Movements Series" -- with a twist: This is subject Adlai E. Stevenson II's personal copy, with his large full rubberstamped (not original) signature in black ink on front pastedown. A choice, incredibly unsual copy, from the library of Senator Adlai E. Stevenson II.
