This is the 1937 "new, revised, enlarged edition" of the 1934 original. It has 96 pages of detailed medical explanations of sexual organs and practices, with black and white medical diagrams/illustrations. This copy is in good + condition with some darkening of pages; original pebbled paper cover in blue is in good condition with minimal wear and bumping. Some dirt to outer cover and page edges, no writing found inside. Rare copy.Please examine the photos for condition, and contact me for more information.

Contemporary inked ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, pencilled notes in the same hand to the front pastedown. Cloth rubbed and with a few small marks and spots, spine and edge of upper board tanned, edges of contents spotted. A very good copy. Third printing, published the year after the first. With the ownership inscription, pencilled notes, and December 1944 report card of Eva Bernice Simmons, a student at the North Carolina College for Negroes, now North Carolina Central University.
