Octavo, 428pp. Black cloth, printed title on spine, signature in gilt on cover. Brown endpapers, clean pages, top edge stained pink. Faint rubbing to lower edge of text block, residual spotting to top edge of pink top stain. Stated "first printing" on copyright page. Publisher's first state dust jacket, near fine, with '10/67' in bottom of front flap and $6.95 price tag. Signed by Styron on tipped-in page, with Kroch's & Brentano's First Edition Circle bookmark included. The Confessions of Nat Turner won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1968.
