Hardcover, bound in later handsome three-quarters blond calf and marbled boards, crimson gilt morocco lettering-piece to spine, gilt fleurons, gilt-tooled raised bands, date stamped in gilt at foot; index and blank verso of few plates with neat scholarly annotations in contemporary hand. In about fine condition. A lovely copy. ~ First edition.
