Hardcover. 8vo - 23.5 x 15.5 cm.; xii - 560 pp. Black cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine and the front board. Four appendices, one of which is a sixty page section of bibliographical notes. Ten page general index. Previous owner's name on the front free end paper. The book shows only mild shelf wear with the exception of a small pull or tear in the spine head, and the gilt lettering is dulled, otherwise very clean with a sound binding. .
